Strange Advance, a Canadian new‑wave group formed in 1982 in Vancouver, British
Columbia, emerged from the collaboration of keyboardist Drew Arnott, vocalist
and guitarist Darryl Kromm, and bassist Paul Iverson, who had met in the city’s
burgeoning music scene. Their breakthrough came with the single "Love Games" in
1982, followed by "She Controls Me" and "Kiss In The Dark", which secured modest
