Stretch Armstrong
Adrian Bartos, known professionally as DJ Stretch Armstrong, is an American DJ,
radio host, and record producer who was born on September 30, 1969, in New York
City, New York. While attending Columbia University, from which he graduated in
1994, Bartos co-hosted The Stretch Armstrong and Bobbito Show on WKCR from 1990
to 1998 alongside Bobbito Garcia. The show introduced emerging hip-hop talents
such as Nas, Jay-Z, and The Notorious B.I.G., and was named the best hip-hop
radio show of all time by The Source magazine in 1998. In 2015, their career was
