STU48
A Japanese idol group based in Setouchi (which inspires the band's name),
Okayama Prefecture, Japan, STU48 is part of the AKB48 franchise, of which it is
the sixth representative. Announced in October 2016, the formation of the group
takes place in 2017. A partnership is forged with the Setouchi region tourism
board, with the all-female group actively involved in its promotion. STU48,
whose members change frequently, often performs on a cruise that crosses seven
prefectures, including Yamaguchi, Hiroshima, Okayama, Hyogo, Tokushima, Kagawa
