Sugarloaf, originally known as Chocolate Hair, is an American rock band formed
in Denver, Colorado, in 1968. The group consisted of lead vocalist and
keyboardist Jerry Corbetta, guitarist Bob Webber, drummer Myron Pollock, and
bassist Bob Raymond. Initially, the band released four singles under the name
Moonrakers before transitioning to Chocolate Hair. In late 1968, they signed
with Liberty Records and began recording demos that would later be included on
