SUPER GiRLS, also known as Supaga, are a J-pop group put together by Japanese
record label Avex Trax in 2010. The group was formed after multiple rounds of
auditions, beginning with around 7,000 hopeful performers. By February 2010 that
number was whittled down to 1,000 participants for the second round, and in June
the final round cut the number to the 12 members who went on to form SUPER
GiRLS' starting line-up.
They made their live debut on August 7th that year and in December their debut
album 'Chouzetsu Shoujo' was released though their first single 'Ganbatte
Seishun' d...
