Swe-Danes
Swe-Danes was a Danish-Swedish jazz and entertainment trio formed in Stockholm,
Sweden, in 1958. The ensemble consisted of violinist Svend Asmussen, guitarist
and vocalist Ulrik Neumann, and singer Alice Babs. They first attracted
international attention after performing in the revue Evergreens in Stockholm.
Between 1958 and 1961, they performed extensively across Scandinavia, England,
Germany, and the United States, including a notable appearance at the Coconut
