Sylvan Pierre LaCue, born in Miami, Florida, on September 2, 1990, is an
American rapper and songwriter formerly known by the stage name QuESt. He
launched his music career in 2009, stylizing his moniker with an uppercase “S”
after the rapper Nas. That same year, LaCue won Jermaine Dupri's “Survival of
