Pál Szécsi, born on March 19, 1944 in Budapest, was a Hungarian
singer-songwriter, performer, and lyricist. He won second place at the 1967
Táncdalfesztivál with "Csak egy tánc volt", launching a series of recordings
that included the 1973 album Egy szál harangvirág and the 1976 release Violák.
Szécsi’s repertoire featured covers of Italian hits such as "Kósza szél" and he
released his works in Germany under the name Paul Moro. He committed suicide on
April 30, 1974 at the age of 30.
