Tages
Tages, a Swedish rock band formed in Gothenburg in 1963, consisted of Tommy
Blom, Göran Lagerberg, Danne Larsson, Anders Töpel, and Freddie Skantze. The
group initially started as a skiffle band named Alberts Skifflegrupp but quickly
evolved into a beat group influenced by the Beatles. Their breakthrough came
with the single "Sleep Little Girl", released in 1964, which reached number
three on Kvällstoppen and topped Tio i Topp for eleven weeks. Tages achieved
thirteen top-20 singles on Kvällstoppen and had two albums certified gold: Tages
