Taiska
Hannele Aulikki Kauppinen, known professionally as Taiska, was born on June 9,
1955, in Imatra, Finland. She is a Finnish singer and theatre director known for
her hit "Mombasa" (1975), originally composed by Italian composer Fabio Frizzi.
Taiska released her debut album Mombasa in 1977. Her career continued with
notable albums such as Taiska (1978) and Villi vapaudenkaipuu (1980). In 1977,
Taiska represented Finland at the World Popular Song Festival in Tokyo with the
