Tapy Quintero (born Mario Andrés Quintero in Tijuana and raised in San Diego) is
a Regional Mexican singer, songwriter, producer, and bajo-quinto player who
first worked behind the scenes writing and producing for acts including Los
Buitres de Culiacán and José Esparza before stepping out as a solo artist. The
son of Mario Quintero Lara, leader of Los Tucanes de Tijuana, he launched his
career under the Master Q Music banner and debuted with the self-written,
