Ted Mulry
Martin Albert Mulry (born 2 September 1947 in Oldham, Lancashire, England)
migrated to Sydney in 1966 and began his career as a singer‑songwriter,
releasing the single "Julia" in 1970 and "Falling in Love Again" in 1971, which
peaked at Number 11 on the Go‑Set National Top 60. After a brief solo stint,
Mulry formed the Ted Mulry Gang in 1972, signing with Albert Productions and
releasing the album Here We Are in 1974; the group’s breakthrough came with
"Jump in My Car" (September 1975), which stayed at Number 1 on the Kent Music
