Formed in Stockholm, Sweden in 1991, Teddybears is an alternative rock band founded by musician / songwriter Joakim Åhlund and vocalist / guitarist Patrick Arve, both members of grindcore band Skull. The line-up also included Joakim’s brother Klaus Åhlund. Rather than form a new band, they merely changed the band’s name from Skulls to Teddybears Sthlm. Initially, their sound was hardcore punk, but over the years, they have added other elements into their sound including electronica, reggae, and hip-hop.
