Telefís
Telefís were a collaborative music project between singer Cathal Coughlan and
producer Jacknife Lee. In 2022, they issued the albums a hAon and a Dó; both won
the Electronic Sound Best Album of the Year award, with a hAon reaching number
38 on the UK album download chart and a Dó peaking at number 70. Their work was
recorded during COVID‑19 lockdowns, with Cathal Coughlan in Leek and Jacknife
Lee in Los Angeles, and featured RTÉ archive footage. Coughlan died in 2022.
