Tetsurō Oda, born 濱田 哲郎 on March 11, 1958, in Japan, is a composer and singer-songwriter. He began his music career as part of the rock band Why from 1978 to 1979 alongside Kenji Kitajima. Following this, Tetsurō Oda was a member of another rock band, Oda Tetsurō&9th IMAGE, from 1980 to 1981. He embarked on his solo career in 1981 and gained prominence as a songwriter in Japan during the late 1980s. In 1990, he won the 32nd Japan Record Award for the song "Odoru Pompokorin," co-written by Momoko Sakura and performed by B.B. Queens. His breakthrough came with the chart-topping sin...
