Đoàn Thanh Lam, born June 19, 1969, is a Vietnamese singer and People’s Artist,
widely recognized as one of Vietnam’s four divas alongside Hồng Nhung, Mỹ Linh,
and Hà Trần. Known as the Queen of Light Music, she has a powerful
mezzo-contralto voice and performs across diverse musical styles. Lam was a
pioneering figure in Vietnamese pop music from the early 1990s and influenced
later singers including Mỹ Linh, Hà Trần and Tùng Dương. She began studying
