The Blank Theory were an American hard rock and nu metal band from Chicago,
Illinois, active between 1998 and 2004. The ensemble achieved professional
recognition for the track “Nevermind” (2000), which appeared in a segment of the
television series MTV Road Rules. Their recording career began with the
self-released extended plays Blinding Process (1999) and Catalyst (2000). After
signing with New Line Records, they released the studio recording Beyond the
