The Box Tops were an American rock band that emerged from Memphis, Tennessee, in
the late 1960s. The group first captured attention with their debut release The
Letter / Neon Rainbow in 1967, which introduced their blend of melodic rock and
soulful harmonies. In 1968 the band continued their momentum with Cry Like a
Baby and the live studio collection Non‑Stop, both of which solidified their
presence on the local scene. The following year, Dimensions became their final
