The Brass Ring is an American popular music group of the 1960s, led by
saxophonist and arranger Phil Bodner. Based in New York City, the band's style
was similar to other "Now Sound" instrumental pop groups of the era, such as The
Tijuana Brass and The Brass Buttons. Their debut release was the single
"Guantanamera" in 1966, followed by their first full-length album, Love Theme
From The Flight Of The Phoenix, which featured the single "Love Theme from the
