The Dukes were an Australian rock band formed in 1991. The group initially
consisted of Sean Kelly on vocals and keyboards, and Geoffrey Stapleton on
keyboards and guitar. They later added Michael Armiger on bass guitar, Michael
King on guitar and backing vocals, and John Mackay on drums and percussion.
Originally named Sean Kelly and the Iron Dukes, they were renamed to The Dukes
shortly after formation. The band's debut single "Gonna Get High" was released
in 1992, followed by "Faith", which reached Number 29 on the Australian singles
