The Fray is a four-piece US indie rock band from Denver, consisting of school friends Isaac Slade and Joe King, who were later joined by Ben Wysocki, David Welsh and Slade's younger brother Caleb. The Fray released their first EP in 2002 under the name Movement, followed by Reason in 2003. This was followed by a record deal and work on their debut album How to Save a Life, which was released in 2005 and reached number 4 in the UK and number 14 in America.
