The Heavy Blinkers were a Canadian orchestrated-pop music group formed in
Halifax, Nova Scotia in 1998. The original lineup included Andrew Watt, Ruth
Minnikin, and Jason MacIsaac. Their debut release was Hooray for Everything in
1998, followed by the self-titled EP Heavy Blinkers in 2000, whose sound has
been compared to Brian Wilson's Smile. Over the next decade, they released
several albums including Better Weather (2001), The Night and I are Still So
