The Ivy League, an English vocal trio, was formed in August 1964 by John Carter, Ken Lewis, and Perry Ford, all seasoned session singers with extensive vocal ranges. Their debut single "What More Do You Want" generated little interest but their second release, "Funny How Love Can Be", reached the UK chart's Top 10 in 1965. Further hits included "That's Why I'm Crying" and "Tossing and Turning", which peaked at number 3 on the UK Singles Chart.
