The Lovely Eggs
Hailing from Lancaster in the northwest of England, maverick DIY psych-pop duo
The Lovely Eggs were founded in 2006 by married couple Holly Ross (guitarist and
lead vocalist) and David Blackwell (drummer) from the ashes of the Holly
Ross-fronted punk band Angelica. The duo kicked off their live career in New
York, before returning to the UK to make an impression on home stages. The
band's debut album, If You Were Fruit, released in 2009, won praise from critics
and established their lo-fi style. Tracks like "Have You Ever Heard a Digital
