The Meditations, a spiritual roots reggae vocal harmony group from Jamaica, was
formed in late 1974 by Ansel Cridland, Danny Clarke, and Winston Watson. They
began recording as The Meditations in late 1976. Their breakthrough came with
the release of "Woman Is Like a Shadow", which sold over forty-five thousand
