The Members, a British punk rock band, originated in Camberley, Surrey, England.
Formed in 1976 by lyricist Nicky Tesco (Nick Lightowlers), the original lineup
included Gary Baker on guitar and Steve Morley on bass guitar. The band's first
recording was "Fear on the Streets", produced by Adrian Lillywhite’s brother
Steve Lillywhite, which appeared on the punk compilation Streets (1977) released
by Beggars Banquet label. Their breakthrough came with the release of "Solitary
