The Midnight
The synthwave duo The Midnight was formed in Los Angeles in 2012 by
singer-songwriter Tyler Lyle and Danish-born producer Tim McEwan. The pair met
during a co-writing workshop in North Hollywood and quickly bonded over their
love of 80s synth-based music. They made their debut in 2014 with the singles
"WeMoveForward" and "Gloria," both included in their first EP Days of Thunder.
Following the release of their studio debut Endless Summer in 2016, The Midnight
scored their first charting effort with the extended-play Nocturnal, which
