The Minus 5 is an alternative rock collective founded in 1993 by Scott McCaughey
(Young Fresh Fellows), often in collaboration with Peter Buck of R.E.M. A
project of variable geometry, The Minus 5 mixes alternative pop rock, garage
rock, country and offbeat folk, with a touch of humor and lo-fi experimentation.
Their eclectic discography includes albums such as Down with Wilco (2003),
