The Orwells
The sound of bored suburban teenagers thrashing away in their parents garage,
Chicago five-piece The Orwells inherit the brattish, high energy, adolescent
rock'n'roll spirit of Iggy and the Stooges, The Ramones and The Buzzcocks.
Formed by school friends Mario Cuomo (vocals), Dominic Corso (guitar), Matt
O'Keefe (guitar) and twins Grant (bass) and Henry Brinner (drums) in 2009, the
band started out playing covers by The Strokes, before self-recording debut
