The Outsiders were an American rock'n'band from Cleveland, Ohio, formed in 1965.
The group were led by guitarist Tom King and initially consisted of members who
had previously been part of another local band, the Starfires. Their
breakthrough came with the release of "Time Won't Let Me" in early 1966, which
peaked at Number 5 on the US charts in April. This success led to their signing
with Capitol Records and the subsequent release of their debut album Time Won't
