The Poodles
The Poodles is a Swedish hard rock ensemble formed in 2005 in Stockholm. The
initial lineup consisted of Jakob Samuel, Pontus Egberg, Christian Lundqvist,
and Pontus Norgren. In 2006, the band participated in Melodifestivalen and
placed number 4. The group released its debut studio album, Metal Will Stand
Tall, in May 2006. The recording featured the single “Night of Passion” and
songs written by Holly Knight. In 2007, the ensemble released the album Sweet
Trade, which included the songs “Seven Seas” with Peter Stormare and “Streets of
