The Shining
The Shining, an English rock group formed in 1999, emerged from former members
of The Stone Roses, The Verve, and the Seahorses, with John Squire and Simon
Jones as founding musicians; the band’s lineup also included drummer Mark Heaney
and vocalist Duncan Baxter. Their breakthrough came with the single "Quicksilver
/ Dum Dum" in April 2002, which garnered attention on Zuma Recordings and led to
a distribution deal with Sony Music. In September 2002 the group released their
