The Simon Sisters, an American folk music duo consisting of Carly Simon and Lucy
Simon, formed in Provincetown, Massachusetts in 1963. The sisters began their
musical journey together, making their television debut on the Hootenanny series
in April 1963. They signed with Kapp Records that same year and released their
debut album, Meet the Simon Sisters, in 1964. Their second album, Cuddlebug, was
recorded during the same sessions and released in 1966. The duo achieved a minor
hit with "Winkin', Blinkin' And Nod", a children's poem set to music by Lucy
