Formed in London in 2001 by Finn Andrews, son of XTC keyboardist Barry Andrews,
The Veils signed with the Blanco y Negro label, which released their first
singles, followed by four albums released by Rough Trade: The Runaway Found
(2004), co-produced by Suede's Bernard Butler, Nux Vomica (2006), Sun Gangs
(2009) and Time Stays, We Go (2013). The alternative rock band undergoes a few
changes of musicians until the fifth album Total Depravity (2016), which
includes the participation of producer El-P.
