The Volumes were an American R&B vocal group formed in 1960 in Detroit,
Michigan. The group consisted of members Ed Union, Elijah Davis, Larry Wright,
Joe Travillion, Ernest Newson, Herb Hamlett, and Clarence Berger Jr. Their
breakthrough came with the release of their single "I Love You" on Chex Records
