With his androgynous physique and clear, high-pitched voice, Thierry Amiel
became one of the stars of a new generation of singers revealed by music TV
shows in the mid-2000s. Although the Marseillais finished second in the first
edition ofA la recherche de la nouvelle star (M6), behind Jonatan Cerrada, his
popularity was nonetheless strong, and a few months later, with his first
album(Paradoxes, 2003), success was on the cards. Success was confirmed three
years later with his successor, Thierry Amiel, more influenced by rock and new
