Three Days Grace, a Canadian rock band, was formed in 1992 as Groundswell in
Asphodel-Norwood, Ontario. The original lineup included Adam Gontier on vocals
and guitar, Neil Sanderson on drums, Brad Walst on bass, Phil Crowe on lead
guitar, and Joe Grant on rhythm guitar. In 1997, after disbanding briefly, the
band regrouped as Three Days Grace with Gontier, Sanderson, and Walst. They
signed with Jive Records in 2003 following the success of their demo for "I Hate
