Tim Curry
Timothy James Curry was born on April 19, 1946, in Grappenhall, Cheshire,
England. Classically trained as a singer during childhood, he studied English
and drama at the University of Birmingham before making his professional stage
debut in the London production of Hair in 1968. In 1973, Tim Curry originated
the role of Dr. Frank-N-Furter in Richard O’Brien’s The Rocky Horror Show,
performing songs including “Sweet Transvestite” and “I’m Going Home.” He
