Moving effortlessly between trap, hip-hop, and dembow, Dominican Latin urban
artist Tokischa Altagracia Peralta (March 17, 1996), known mononymously as
Tokischa, rose to fame thanks to equal doses of musical talent and controversy.
Born in the city of San Felipe de Puerto Plata, she spent her teenage years in
the neighborhood of Los Frailes in Santo Domingo and honed her creative skills
