Tom Chapin, born on March 13, 1945 in New York City, is an American
singer-songwriter. He began performing with his brothers Harry and Steve as the
Chapin Brothers during the 1960s folk revival. In 1971, Tom hosted ABC's
children's TV series Make a Wish, which earned him a Peabody Award. His first
solo album, Life is Like That, was released in 1976 on Fantasy Records. Chapin
has released numerous albums for both adult and children's audiences, including
