British musician, producer and composer born on January 11, 1971 in
Henley-on-Thames, Tom Rowlands is best known as one of the two founding members
of electronic duo The Chemical Brothers, alongside Ed Simons. He began his
musical career in the early 1990s, after studying art history at Manchester
University, where he met Simons. Together, they began mixing under the name The
Dust Brothers, before finally adopting the name The Chemical Brothers in 1995.
