Trenches
Trenches was an American metal band formed in 2007 in Indianapolis, Indiana, by
former Haste the Day vocalist Jimmy Ryan. Alongside Ryan, the lineup consisted
of guitarist, keyboardist, and vocalist Joel David Lauver, guitarist Eli Larch
Chastain, bassist Bill Scott, and drummer Phil Hook. The group made its live
debut in Noblesville, Indiana, on November 24, 2007. They released their first
studio album, The Tide Will Swallow Us Whole, on September 16, 2008, under Solid
