Tres Chicas
Tres Chicas, an alternative country group from Raleigh, North Carolina,
consisted of Lynn Blakey, Caitlin Cary, and Tonya Lamm. Producer Chris Stamey
encouraged them to release their first full album after hearing tapes of their
informal recording sessions, resulting in Sweetwater (2004) on Yep Roc. In 2006,
they released Bloom, Red & The Ordinary Girl, recorded in London with producers
Neil Brockbank and Robert Trehern, featuring collaborations with Nick Lowe,
Geraint Watkins, and Bill Kirchen. Lynn Blakey died in February 2026.
