Tunde Baiyewu
Tunde Emanuel Baiyewu, known as Tunde Baiyewu, and born on November 25, 1968, in
London to a Nigerian family, is a singer-songwriter. After his father's death,
he moved to Nigeria and later returned to Britain for university, where he met
Paul Tucker. Together, they formed Lighthouse Family, releasing their debut
album Ocean Drive in 1995. The lead single "Lifted" reached the top 5 on the UK
Singles Chart, and the album was certified six-times Platinum by the end of
1997. In 2004, Baiyewu began a solo career with the album Tunde, followed by
Diamond in a Rock in 2013.
