U‑N‑I, a hip‑hop duo from Inglewood, Los Angeles, was formed by Y‑O (Yonas
Semere Michael) and Thurzday (Yannick Koffi). The pair met in 1999 at
St. Bernard High School, initially performing with Rap‑Ture Kamp before forming
U‑N‑I in 2006. Their early single "K.R.E.A.M." (2007) amassed 430,000 YouTube
views, followed by the mixtape Fried Chicken & Watermelon and the hit "Beautiful
