Urszula
Urszula Beata Kasprzak, known professionally as Urszula, is a Polish rock and
pop singer and multi-instrumentalist born on February 7, 1960, in Lublin. She
began playing piano and accordion in her youth and gained national recognition
in 1977 after winning the main prize at the Festival of Soviet Songs in Zielona
Góra with Kopciuszek. In 1982, Urszula began collaborating with Budka Suflera
and composer Romuald Lipko, recording Fatamorgana '82, followed by songs
including Dmuchawce, latawce, wiatr. She released her debut album, Urszula, in
1983, followed by Malinowy król in 1984. ...
