Vainica Doble was a Spanish pop duo formed by Gloria van Aerssen and Carmen
Santonja. The musicians met at the Complutense University of Madrid and began
collaborating in 1966. van Aerssen was born in 1932 and Santonja was born in
1934. In 1969, they made an anonymous appearance in the film Carola de día,
Carola de noche. The duo released its first single “La bruja” / “Un metro
cuadrado” through the label Columbia. Their debut studio album Vainica Doble
