Valentina Lisitsa is a classical pianist from Ukraine who learned to play as a
child and studied at the Kiev Conservatory before moving to America where she
attracted great attention when she began posting music videos on YouTube
starting in 2007 with a selection of Chopin etudes. Her 2011 recording 'Charles
