Velours Velours
Raphaël Pépin-Tanguay, known professionally by his stage name Velours Velours,
is a Canadian singer-songwriter and guitarist from Sainte-Anne-des-Monts,
Quebec. He began performing on stage at six and a half years of age during an
activity at the Camp chanson de Petite-Vallée. After studying jazz guitar at the
Cégep de Saint-Laurent, Pépin-Tanguay relocated to Montreal and released his
debut extended play, Fauve, in 2022, which was co-produced by Philippe Brach.
