Veryan Weston, born on September 3, 1950, in Uckfield, Sussex, a British pianist
active in free improvisation, jazz, and rock music. He began his career as a
freelance jazz pianist and improviser. In 1972, he moved to London and started
performing at the Little Theatre Club. He authored a book on piano improvisation
in 1975 with support from the Arts Council of Great Britain. He collaborated
extensively during the late 1970s and early 1980s, notably with Stinky Winkles,
